Carbon Monoxide Poisoning in Uganda: What You Need to Know

What Causes Carbon Monoxide Poisoning?

Carbon monoxide poisoning usually happens when people breathe in smoke or fumes in a small, poorly ventilated space. This can come from charcoal stoves used indoors, car exhaust, or other fuels that don’t burn completely. Carbon monoxide is a gas that has no colour or smell, so you can’t easily tell it’s there.
